Paxos

Paxos is an island that invites you to step off the beaten path and discover a quieter, more intimate side of Greece. Free from the usual tourist crowds, it charms with its simplicity and unspoiled beauty. With its olive groves, crystal-clear waters, and hidden coves, Paxos feels like a well-kept secret waiting to be explored.

The island is home to three main villages—Gaios, Lakka and Loggos—all within a 20 minute drive from each other. While there are few organized beaches, Paxos is renowned for its crystal-clear waters and breathtaking coastline, perfect for those eager to explore by boat. Just a short ride away, the nearby island of Antipaxos boasts some of the most stunning turquoise waters in Greece, making it a must see for anyone visiting Paxos.

To fully experience Paxos, we recommend staying at least 4 days to explore its hidden gems.

HOW TO GET THERE

The easiest way to get to Paxos is to fly into Corfu and take a ferry (about 1 hour).

Pay attention to your flight arrival time to catch the last ferry on time!

All the ferries depart from the main port, which is 20 minutes drive from the airport.

Kamelia ferries depart from Lefkimmi port and buses will take you directly from the airport to the port (included in the ticket).

Private water taxis are available for up to 8 people at €450, but must be booked in advance.

CORFU (CFU)

INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

Corfu Island, Greece

To reach Paxos, there is no airport directly on the island. The closest airport is Corfu International Airport (CFU), located on the island of Corfu, about 30 miles (48 km) from Paxos. From Corfu, you can take a ferry or boat to Paxos, which typically takes about 1 to 1.5 hours.

 

Here’s how to get there:
1. Fly into Corfu International Airport (CFU): There are direct flights from many European cities to Corfu, especially during the high season.
2. Ferry or boat from Corfu to Paxos: Regular ferries run from the port of Corfu to Paxos several times a day, depending on the season. If you prefer a faster or more private journey, you can also opt for a private boat or a seaplane.
